Ionian Flotilla Sailing

Ionian flotilla sailing holidays

Lefkas

Kefallonia

Lefkas flotilla from Nidri (Ithaka route and Zante route)
+ Kefalonia (Cephalonia) Flotilla
(2 routes)

We have a new flotilla starting from Kefalonia for the 2016 season, starting from Aghia Eufimia. The new base is ideally situated to explore Kefalonia, with new routes not only circumnavigating Kefalonia, but also exploring to the south, with stops on Zakynthos and Killini on the Peloponnese penninsula.

The Ionian is without question the "birthplace" of flotilla sailing, and with good reason. Gentle breezes, secure anchorages and iridescent waters make this the ideal flotilla holiday destination. The protected waters are ideal for less experienced sailors as well as those more experienced sailors looking to relax and unwind.

The Ionian Seas offer a stunning combination of cruising opportunities. At one extreme you can still discover uninhabited islands and hidden away coves. At the other you have harbours full of Venetian charm and sophistication. In between translucent waters, short passages and clement conditions ideal for the more relaxed sailor.

Each island and every port of call has it's own unique allure as part of the patchwork Ionian sailing experience. You can swim in iridescent waters, explore timeless villages set amongst olive groves and vineyards, and indulge in the tastes and flavours of native Greece in traditional tavernas and lively bars. It's a wonderful fusion of ease and adventure.

You can combine a week at the Beach Club with a week or two on flotilla. The Ionian Beach Club boasts excellent facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts, 10 acres of gardens and a wonderful beach side location with a range of dinghies, windsurfers and catamarans for your use. It's also possible to do RYA sailing courses from there.
