Requesting an option
When you are ready to confirm your booking, let us know your choice and we will put an option on the boat, cabin or cruise in question, which is usually held for between 3 – 5 days. We will then send you a booking form / contract with the details of the charter and payment details. You will need to pay the deposit before the option expires and send us proof of payment (if paying by bank transfer) or your credit card authorisation in order to confirm the booking. Failure to pay the deposit before the option expires means that you the boat may then move to the next person waiting in line.
Cancellations
In the event of cancellation by the Charterer, all advance payments made up to the date of cancellation will be retained by the Owner, unless or until a new booking can replace the cancelled charter. In the event that the same boat can be rechartered for the same period, all advance payments will be refunded less administrative costs, commissions or extra discounts (to equal value for the charter).
For that reason, we strongly advise taking out a comprehensive travel insurance that will cover you for cancellations and other unforeseeable events, which may occur before and during your trip. It can also cover you for accidents or losses that may occur while you are travelling. Insurance can be obtained via EIS before the charter start date.
