Five air-conditioned en suite guest cabins (four large double cabins plus one bunk bed cabin) for up to 10 guests, plus a separate bunk-bed crew cabin with separate bathroom & WC, make this catamaran ideal for large sailing groups who want to explore the Greek islands from Athens in style.
Dufour 48 Catamaran is usually offered as a skippered or fully crewed yacht. In addition to this bareboat model from Athens, we offer skippered and crewed Dufour 48 catamarans from other locations, including Mykonos, Paros, Lefkas and Preveza.
Dufour 48 Catamaran features
The Dufour 48 catamaran offers a balance of space in the deck plan, cockpit, flybridge, bow and interior living areas. In the bow there are two areas with sunpads, separated by large lockers. The Flybridge is designed as a second cockpit and is equipped with a large table and a wide seating area with sunpads. Stairs on either side lead from the flybridge to main covered cockpit seating area below. The large spacious cockpit works as an extension to the living area and has a large dining table for 8 people, as well as several areas for relaxation and swimming access. There is also an integrated barbecue for outdoor cooking.
Large glass doors open from the cockpit into the interior. The large living room and galley are connected to the cockpit and equipped with numerous storage lockers. Ahead is a navigation table, chartplotter and autopilot controls. The dining table in the saloon can be lowered to a coffee table or a double bed height.
The 360° panoramic window provides plenty of natural light and view of the sea and a number of portholes provide natural light in the aft cabins.
To guarantee maximum privacy for each living space, there are two stairs on the port side and a third staircase on the starboard side. Thus, all cabins have completely separate access and remain accessible from the saloon. Each cabin includes its own bathroom with separate shower, as well as a variety of cabinets and storage lockers. Ventilation and lighting are also perfectly thought out.
The architects of the Dufour 48 catamaran, Umberto Felci and Lorenzo Giovannozzi, have created an elegant and innovative design in line with the philosophy of Dufour yachts. To ensure maximum safety and ease of handling, the mast has been moved back along the centre line of the boat for better balance and to limit the tension on the mainsail.
