The yacht
Naya 11 is a new (2022 built) skippered catamaran from Lagoon. At almost 15 metres long, this is one of the most spacious and comfortable new designs which has proved very popular in the Greek charter market. There are front and aft cockpits and a complete cooking area at the back, with practical and safe access to the sea, while still allowing ample space for a large and comfortable saloon area inside. There are no barriers between the interior and the exterior thanks to a large sash bow window in the front, connecting the front cockpit and saloon.
Fully air-conditioned, with generator, watermaker, solar panels, a hydraulic gangway, a dinghy with 15 HP outboard engine, the boat is perfect for up to 8 guests who would like to experience the Greek Cyclades islands in comfort and style.
The cabins have also been designed to be large and spacious, in particular the front cabins which are now as large and spacious as the aft cabins. Careful finishing, large windows and considered interior lighting ensure a pleasant experience on board.
The Lagoon 46 has been awared the Best Multihull Sailing Yacht Award, 2019, in the Asia Boating Awards. It has a larger sail plan and the mast has been moved further back, with impressive performance results. So if you are looking for a skippered catamaran in the heart of the Cyclades islands, this is perfect for you.
The Skipper
The owner-skipper, Nikos, was born in Athens on 6th December 1965. He is married to Mata and is the father of two children, Naya and Anthony, who are both involved with the family business. Mata will be your hostess if you need one, making sure that you are properly looked after while on board and served the most delicious authentic Greek cuisine.
Nikos is a highly qualified Skipper with over 25 years experience at sea. His passion is the sea and his family. He is friendly, communicative, discrete and has a good sense of humour. He also has a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility and his aim is always to insure a high quality service, catering to his guests’ wishes and expectations. His hobbies include fishing, snorkeling and cooking barbeques. He speaks English and Greek.
Sailing location: Paros, Milos and the Cyclades islands
Milos is one of the most beautiful and exotic islands in the Aegean Sea with its beautiful rock formations. With its extraordinary colours and landscape it is, without doubt, one of the most impressive in the Cyclades. Volcanic rocks paint the beaches red, pink and orange. Highlights include: Sarakiniko and Kleftiko, with their white rock formations, emerald green waters and eroded sea caves. Stories of pirates linger in the local folklore. There is a wide selection of mesmerising beaches and the multicoloured settlements of Klima, Emborios and Mandrakia, with their quaint buildings cut into the cliffs.
This is where the Venus de Milo (the exquisite life-sized marble statue believed to be the goddess Aphrodite, now housed in the Louvre) was discovered. Milos is unique.
Beaches include: Palaiochori, Papafragas, Gerontas, Firiplaka, Tsigrado, Plathiena. Yellow, orange, red and dazzling white rock formations are even more vibrant against the background of turquoise water. Milos’ volcanic landscape has created a sight beyond one’s imagination. On Naya you can set sail for the day and take in the kaleidoscope of beaches, some of the best in the Cyclades.
The yacht can also be chartered from Paros in the heart of the Cyclades islands during the summer months.
