This Saronic Gulf Flotilla alternates routes, beginning one week at Korfos and the second week at Kiato.
For the Corinth route, you embark at Korfos on the Peloponnese coast, a fantastic location with good protection from the prevailing winds and a great place from which to explore the best of this beautiful sailing area, and after passing through The Corinth Canal, you’ll explore the Gulf of Corinth, including the quaint harbours of Galaxidi and Trizonia, where ancient charms meet modern allure.
For the Saronic Gulf route, you will start in Kiato in the Culf of Corinth, from where, after passing through the Corinth Canal, you will explore the best of the Saronic Gulf, including the islands of Aegina, Poros and a visit to Ancient Epidavros, near the famous amphitheatre where you can hear a pin drop.

The Area
The town of Kiato, close to Corinth, is nestled between the Peloponnese and mainland Greece, an area that boasts a rich tapestry of history, where ancient ruins blend seamlessly with modern life. The Gulf of Corinth stretches to the west, offering stunning vistas of rugged cliffs and crystalline waters, inviting travelers to explore its hidden coves and picturesque towns. Delphi, one of the most famous sites of Ancient Greece is perched in the mountains above another highlight, Galaxidi, just two of the amazing places in this quiet sailing area.
Through the Corinth Canal to the east, the Saronic Gulf captivates with its tranquil allure, where azure waters gently caress sun-kissed shores. Nestled within this enchanting expanse lies Epidavros, renowned for its ancient theater, a testament to Greece’s enduring cultural legacy and architectural mastery.
The Weather
Reliable sunshine on the Corinth & Saronic Gulf flotilla is all but guaranteed during the season between May and October, with temperatures ranging from the low 20s in early and late season up to the mid to high 30s in late June through August. Sailing conditions are generally moderate with winds typically force 3-5.

Summer Holiday Kids Club
The Saronic Gulf flotilla will feature a kids’ club running from the 15th of July to the 1st of September. This will be free for all those joining these flotillas and will feature afternoon & evening activities for children & big kids alike. Please enquire for details.
Day 1
Fly to Athens and transfer to the harbour at historic Korfos for embarkation.
Day 2
(22 nm) Heading out from our base, it’s time to cross the Corinth canal and then into the harbour of Corinth.
Day 3
(30 NM) An atmospheric fishing village and convenient access point for the fabulous ancient site of Delphi.
Day 4
(22 NM) A gem of a town, with notable traditional architecture with its ‘Kapetanospita’ and some excellent traditional tavernas, favoured by wealthy Athenians.
Day 5
(17 NM) This sleepy little island is something of a discovery with turquoise waters and a great little marina.
Day 6
Your crew will advise on some great choices for free sailing. Alternatively, head back to base and join our optional excursion to transit the Corinth Canal.
Day 7
Time to head to our protected base in the Gulf of Corinth, Kiato. Enjoy a farewell meal with the flotilla and crew. Disembarkation in the morning or free day for 2 week sailors.
Day 1

(22 nm) A yachting town though and through, boasting lots of charm & character.There’s a lively waterfront & a maze of narrow streets to explore.

(17 nm) Best noted for amazing sunsets, a good choice of sea-front tavernas and an ancient temple & monastery to discover if you wish.
Day 5
(10 nm) Famous for Pistachios, Aegina Town is a gem – plenty of restaurants and some good nightlife too
Day 6
The areas south of Angistri, Korfos and Belle Helene are some of your choices, before your return transit of the Corinth Canal.
Day 7
Time to head to our base in the Saronic Gulf, Korfos, and a farewell dinner in this beautiful bay.

This 3 cabin yacht is ideal for 2 couples and smaller families, fun and safe to sail with all controls from the cockpit. This yacht is equipped with a chartplotter in the cockpit for ease of use, as well as perfect sunbathing seats in the aft of the cockpit! Designed to sleep 8, but great for 6.
