The Sun Odyssey 410, available for bareboat or skippered charters from Volos

One of the most exciting new yachts to enter the charter market, the Sun Odyssey 410 is ideal for families, or groups of friends. Easy to handle, comfortable, a great performer, with specialised features like sloping side decks, and under-floor wine storage compartments, she is the perfect holiday boat.

An inviting deck plan

Sailing was never so enjoyable aboard a 41-foot sailboat. With her powerful hull, the Sun Odyssey 410 perfects the art of sailing and comfort on board. The model is particularly secure, featuring sidedecks without obstacles and comfortable coaming. All is as with her predecessors from the 8th generation, the Sun Odyssey 410 benefits from a lower boom, which facilitates access to the sail and increases the sail area. Centralised winches, which can be controlled directly from the cockpit, also contribute to safety on board.

An interior dedicated to well being and harmony

The interior is at once surprising and consistent with the Sun Odyssey line, where innovation serves to heighten the aesthetic and the level of comfort. Designed by Jean-Marc Piaton and his crew, the interior design reveals stunning potential for a sailboat of this size. The partitions and the distribution of space were designed in a somewhat atypical fashion in order to maximise the interior space, both visually and physically. The eye easily follows the uninterrupted interior lines. The interior is at once surprising and consistent with the Sun Odyssey line, where innovation serves to heighten the aesthetic and the level of comfort.

Discover the Gulf of Volos and the Sporades islands

Our base in Volos is the ideal location to begin your yacht charter sailing trip through the Sporades islands in our Sun Odyssey 410, Circe. Explore the gulf of Volos with its fishing villages, quiet bays and anchorages and traditional aspect. Sail further and you can visit the northern ports of Evia, or Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos, and the marine park of the north Aegean. Skyros and other islands are also within reach.

In Greek mythology

Circe was considered a witch-goddess who entrapped Odysseus on her island, seduced him and turned his men into pigs. Another version of the story suggests that Odysseus’ men tried to assault her so she turned them into pigs, but Odysseus himself charmed her and she took him as her lover. They eventually had a son together before he left the island with his men once more, to resume his 10 year journey home to Ithaca…
